Vertebrate - Marine Reptile
Marine reptiles are reptiles which have become secondarily adapted for an aquatic or semi-aquatic life in a marine environment. They belong to several different lineages.

Mosasaurs are marine reptiles that lived across the world at the end of the Cretaceous period. Their body is long, snake-like, provided of four limbs transformed in paddles. They were among the largest predators of their time (the longest mosasaur could be measured 15-20 meters).
